We give you a fixed quote before we start.
We quote the fee before we start the work.
Almost everything we do is a fixed fee. Where a job is genuinely open-ended we say so first, and you approve the approach before we begin.
T1 prepared and filed, credits checked line by line, and we go through it with you first. Sole proprietors from $595.
Stand-alone corporate return. Bookkeeping, payroll and HST is quoted before we start. Realtor plans from $85.
Quoted individually, because no two estates take the same amount of work.
The four we get asked most.
What does a personal tax return cost?
From $199. A straightforward return with slips and credits sits at the bottom of that range. Investments, rentals or self-employment move it up, and we tell you which one you are before we start.
What if I am behind on my books?
That is most of the people who call us. Catch-up work is quoted separately, in writing, and once you are current we keep your books on a monthly, quarterly or annual schedule.
Is everything a fixed fee?
Almost everything. Returns, year-ends, bookkeeping and catch-up work are quoted as a fixed fee before we start. A small number of jobs are genuinely open-ended, usually CRA disputes and one-off advisory work, and we tell you that up front rather than after.
Do I have to come into the office?
No. Most clients send everything in and we go through the return by phone. If you would rather sit down at Harvester Road and do the intake in person, that is there too.
Tell us what you need, in one line.
